Otsuka Ai’s new song is titled “Love Letter” and will be the theme song of the TV program named “私の1冊 日本の100冊” broadcast on NHK.

The program will start on October 26th, 2008.

Hana Yori Dango Final The Movie DVD

After two television series, the live-action adaptation of Yoko Kamio’s Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers) manga will end with the Hana Yori Dango: Final theatrical movie, which will screen in summer of 2008 in Japan. The romantic comedy centers on a girl named Tsukushi who struggles with life in a clique-filled private academy and her feelings for the boys in the most elite clique, F4. The movie will take place one year after Tsukushi’s graduation ceremony (which was the last scene of the second television series) as a major incident brings the five main characters together.

Hana Kimi SP 2008 CM

The special will take place half a year after the series’ end. With Osaka Gakuen getting ready for an upcoming Valentine’s Day event, Sano and Nakatsu reflect on the final week of their last summer vacation, which falls into the timeline of the original series between episodes 7 and 8. The special also includes a graduation scene and addresses the relationship between Mizuki and Sano.

According to Japanese Newspapers (Sanpo, Nikkan Sports, …) X Japan Xmas lives planned for 24th and 25th december 2008 will take place at さいたまスーパーアリーナ(Saitaima Super Arena) offering 37.000 seats.

Utada “Eternally” for Innocent Love drama

Utada “Eternally” from “distance” album has been chosen to be the theme of “Innoncent Love” that I have shown you previously in “October 2008 Upcoming J-Dramas“.

Apparently, the song will use a re-edited version of the original vocal recording. It was remixed at a London recording studio to emphasize the vocals more, resulting in a new version titled “Eternally -Drama Mix-.”

The song will be released digitally and as a chaku-uta, starting on the drama’s premiere date of October 20.
