Asian Kung Fu Generation’s latest single Solanin is the theme song for the film adaptation of Asano Inio’s popular two-volume manga of the same name. With lead singer Goto Masafumi adding music to the lyrics Asano wrote in the manga, fans can finally hear the true sound of Solanin. Also included is the new “mix for Meiko” version of Mustang (originally on the mini-album Imada Minu Asuni), which Miyasaki and co-star Kora Kengo sing in the film.

Beck Movie Trailer

The first trailer of the live action film adaptation of Harold Sakuishis Beck rock-and-roll manga.

Director Yukihiko Tsutsumi began shooting the film at the beginning of last July, and Shochiku will distribute the film in Japan this fall.

Hatsune Miku Anime confirmed for Spring 2010

The Black Rock Shooter official website has confirmed that an anime project is being developed by Yutaka Yamamoto and his Ordet studio, and the anime is schedule to air in Spring 2010.

A “pilot” edition of the anime will be shipped on Blu-Ray and DVD on 30 September 2009. The bundle will include a CD single of the song and artwork from the anime.
