J-pop diva Koda Kumi stormed to new highs in 2006 with her album Black Cherry, which became the best-selling Japanese album of the year. She’ll try to repeat the feat in 2008 with her sixth album Kingdom. This highly anticipated album comes bright and early in the year, one week after the release of her 39th single anytime. Koda Kumi’s 2007 singles Last Angel feat. Dong Bang Shin Ki, Ai no Uta, BUT, Aisho, and Freaky, as well as the recent CM song Amai Wana, are all included on this 15-track release, along with nine brand new songs. The album showcases the wide range of the singer’s musical talents and interests, from cheerful pop to power rock to groovin’ R&B, serving up jiving new sounds to the many citizens of the Koda Kumi Kingdom.
This Limited Edition comes with a bonus track (full version of Black Cherry introduction) and two bonus DVDs. The first DVD contains the music videos for all 15 of the album’s songs, plus Run For Your Life, as well as making of footage.
