My screen stuck at 1280×1024 instead of 1400×1050 with ATI’s 7.12 drivers…
The only solution is to install ATI’s previous driver. I’ve tried to edit xorg.conf unsuccessfully.

Back to Previous drivers…
Update to Ati 8.1 or later.
